Flotek Continues South West Expansion With Plum Plymouth Move
Flotek is extremely proud to be continuing its expansion across the South West as it plums for Plymouth’s ‘tech-centre’ as the new home for its latest acquisition.
Having acquired technology and IT support service provider MazingTree back in
November 2022, the move to Plymouth Science Park marks Flotek’s expansion to cover Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, as well as the wider Wales area.
With cutting-edge support and first-class facilities including lab space, break out areas and on-site restaurant, Plymouth Science Park is home to an ever-expanding range of businesses in the Advanced Engineering, Business Services, Digital, Environmental, Marine, Health and Wellbeing sectors.
The site also boasts a purpose-built Data Centre serves as a secure, fully-protected IT colocation environment, with facilities including resilient air conditioning; N+N UPS plant; Monitoring systems and high capacity standby diesel generator. What’s more, Flotek also has additional rack space available for interested clients, from individually secure third or half rack sections, to single full rack enclosures.
Flotek is confident the joining of the businesses in Plymouth will encourage sharing of knowledge and expertise across the Group – set to triple in size in the next six months.
