Microsoft Teams Room will revolutionise your business meetings.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses worldwide were forced to re-evaluate their traditional ways of communication. With the rise of remote work and social distancing measures, the days of bustling boardrooms and face-to-face meetings became a thing of the past. Instead, companies turned to virtual communication platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom to bridge the physical gap.

The shift towards virtual communication brought numerous benefits, particularly in terms of cost savings and convenience. Gone were the hefty expenses of travel and accommodation, replaced by the ease and efficiency of virtual meetings. However, despite this technological leap forward, many companies still struggle to master the art of effective virtual communication.

Picture this, a chaotic scene where everyone is huddled behind separate screens, in separate rooms, fumbling to find the unmute button, undecided on which background looks the prettiest or struggling to turn on their camera. It’s a scenario that seems all too familiar even three years from the start of the pandemic. One would expect that by now, businesses would have sharpened their virtual communication appearance.

Just as one wouldn’t show up to a professional meeting in shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals, the importance of appearance and presentation extends to the virtual realm. Your online presence matters just as much as your physical one. Virtual meetings shouldn’t be treated as a casual affair but rather as an opportunity to make a lasting impression.

So what is Microsoft Teams Room?

A Microsoft Teams Room revolutionises the way conference rooms are set up by seamlessly integrating a camera, microphone, and speakers into a sleek all-in-one system. With no need for a PC or separate components, it offers a hassle-free plug-and-play experience, making it ideal for small to large meeting rooms.

Setup is a breeze, taking just minutes, and it significantly reduces the time and effort required for deployment and management.

Our technology partner Yealink, introduces two Meeting Bar models, the A20 and the A30, each catering to specific business needs and requirements. These cutting-edge solutions are designed to provide the perfect fit for any company.

Speaker Tracking

Speaker Tracking frames a real-time close-up on the presenter, bringing a vivid face-to-face meeting experience and ensuring attendees are well-engaged.

Picture in picture

Picture-in-Picture tracks and frames the speaker in an individual window, which is separate from the other window, for a panoramic view, enabling users to keep an eye on who’s talking even if the speaker is seated at a distance in a medium room.

Multi-focus Framing

Multi-Focus Framing mode not only recognises all attendees and frames each participant, but also turns equal windows of multiple persons into a recombined meeting view, solving the problem of distractions due to an unclear background.

So what do you need to get started?

First to get started, you need to choose between the A20 and A30, this is very much dependent on camera requirements and your room size.

The A20 has a 1080p Full HD camera for clear video in most meeting rooms, while the A30 has a superior 4K camera for high-resolution visuals in larger spaces.

Both models prioritise audio quality with built-in microphone arrays and noise reduction technology, however the A30 goes a step further with an additional built-in woofer for enhanced and immersive sound.

Both models include a HDMI input and output, USB ports and Bluetooth. Although it’s worth noting that the A30 provides for more USB ports which allow for additional device connections.

The A20 and A30 both feature a portable CTP18 Touch Panel, this allows you to start, leave or even add additional people into the meeting all from the comfort of your seat.

The A30 provides additional features not found in the A20, including dual-screen functionality for enhanced productivity and a deeper pickup range suitable for larger meeting rooms.

Yealink Meetingbar A20 (Ideal For Meeting Rooms Upto 6-13 People)

The Yealink MeetingBar A20 integrates the conference room webcam, microphone and speakers into an all-in-one system. No PC or individual components are required, allowing plug-and-play for a dedicated small meeting room setup within minutes, greatly reducing the time needed for deployment and management.

In addition, connecting to a CTP18 touch panel can be realised for better meeting control.

Yealink Meetingbar A30 (Ideal For Meeting Rooms Upto 10-15 People)

The Yealink MeetingBar A30 dual-camera system is perfect for medium sized rooms. It features an optical camera with 10x hybrid zoom and an 8-megapixel digital camera with a 120° field of view, delivering a clear visual experience with depth, which is unable to be achieved with a single camera.

You can also add an additional screen to view your team and guests whilst viewing any onscreen presentations or whiteboard applications.
